Choosing the Right Artwork

How do I choose an artwork that's right for me?

Start by choosing the limited-edition artwork you genuinely love, without worrying about where it will hang. Ask yourself:

  • What draws me to this piece?
  • Is it the colour palette?
  • The style?
  • The emotion or feeling it creates?

If you naturally connect with an artwork, chances are you'll love living with it every day.

Can you help me visualise a piece in my space?

Absolutely. Simply email me a photo of your space along with the limited-edition art pieces you're considering, and I'll create a complimentary digital mock-up so you can see how your favourite piece could look in your home.

Production & Materials

How is each artwork produced?

Every limited-edition artwork is professionally printed, stretched and framed to gallery-quality standards before being delivered ready to hang.

Each piece is made to order and produced with exceptional care by trusted Australian framing specialists using premium materials designed to last for generations.

What are the canvas prints made of?
  • Museum-quality 12oz cotton duck canvas (340gsm)
  • 100% pure cotton
  • Triple-primed for exceptional colour reproduction
  • Printed using archival pigment inks that resist fading
  • Finished with a protective UV matte coating to help guard against moisture and light
What kind of stretcher bars are used?

Canvases are stretched over premium kiln-dried Hop Pine or New Zealand Pine stretcher bars. Each frame is plantation-grown, finger-jointed, underpinned and reinforced to provide exceptional strength and resistance to warping over time.

Tell me about the floating frames.

Premium Tasmanian Oak floating frames are handcrafted from sustainably sourced solid timber and finished to gallery-quality standards.

Does my artwork arrive ready to hang?

Yes. After stretching and framing, every canvas is fitted with professional hanging hardware (D-rings and wire where appropriate), allowing your artwork to be hung as soon as it arrives.

Delivery

Where do you ship to?

Free shipping is included for all Limited Edition Art orders over $500 AUD in Australia. International shipping will be calculated at check-out. Artwork is carefully packaged, fully insured where applicable, and shipped with tracking.

All Limited Edition Art shipped internationally is rolled and unframed.

What about international orders?

For countries outside Australia, New Zealand and the USA, unframed canvas prints are available, rolled and shipped in tubes. Your artwork can then be professionally stretched and framed by your preferred local framer.

How long will delivery take?

Please allow approximately 14 days for production and delivery from the date the order is received. To reduce shipping times, your limited-edition artwork will be produced by the trusted print partner closest to your location.

Production locations include:

Hanging Your Artwork

How high should I hang my artwork?

As a rule, artwork looks best when the centre of the piece sits approximately 145 – 152 cm from the floor — around average eye level. Hanging artwork too high can make it feel disconnected from the room.

How much space should I leave above furniture?

Leave approximately 15 – 30 cm between the top of your furniture and the bottom of the artwork.

Any tips for dining rooms, staircases and gallery walls?

Dining Rooms: As people are seated more often, artwork can be hung slightly lower than standard eye level.

Staircases: Gallery-style arrangements work beautifully on staircases. Think of the entire collection as one composition while keeping the overall centre close to eye level.

Gallery Walls: Treat multiple artworks as one large display. Choose one hero artwork as the centrepiece, position it at eye level, then build the remainder of the arrangement around it.

Feature Corners: A beautiful artwork paired with a favourite chair, console or sculpture creates an inviting feature objet d'art that naturally draws the eye.

What hardware and hanging tips should I follow?
  • Before making any holes, hold the artwork against the wall and experiment with different positions.
  • Use a pencil to lightly mark each corner before measuring.
  • Always use a spirit level for accuracy.
  • If possible, secure heavy artwork into a wall stud.
  • For plasterboard walls where a stud isn't available, claw picture hangers are excellent — they leave only a small hole and can safely support artwork up to approximately 20 kg. Larger pieces should be supported by two hangers.
  • If your artwork has hanging wire, pull the wire tight and measure from the highest point of the wire to the top of the frame. This measurement determines where your hook or hanger should be positioned.
  • Larger artworks fitted with D-rings should be installed using two hooks or screws. Measure carefully between the D-rings before marking your wall.
  • If you're unsure or your artwork is particularly large, I recommend using a professional picture hanging service.
